About Us – Bob and Darlene Marcus

Bob and Darlene Marcus have been collectively involved in residential real estate for over sixty years. Bob and Darlene’s past experiences encompass home building, residential appraising, residential sales, interior design and corporate relocation management. They know residential real estate, and they know the importance of providing exceptional service to their clients.

A Closer Look

Bob Marcus served as Vice President, Operations for Pinnacle Group; Regional Vice President for Merrill Lynch Relocation Management; Co-owner of New Traditions; Residential Sales Associate for First Team Real Estate; and Staff Appraiser for Corporate Link. Independently, he was in the home building business. In these capacities, Bob has handled residential real estate over much of the country. He has been responsible for overseeing the client relations and operations for large corporate relocation clients ensuring the expedient purchase, management and resale of the transferring employee's home. His hands on experience in the full array of every aspect of residential real estate allow Bob to be in a unique position to manage your second home property.

Darlene has spent most of her career in the field of corporate relocation. As a senior officer for Merrill Lynch Relocation Management, Darlene managed a number of company divisions including Home Sale and Homefinding. In these capacities, she oversaw the valuation, acquisition, management and disposition of over a billion dollars of residential real estate per year throughout the United States. After leaving Merrill Lynch, she founded Premier Relocation Services. Under her direction and vision, Premier grew from an idea to a nationally recognized company offering innovative, cost effective relocation programs. Darlene has been instrumental in the design and management of all aspects of real estate related services geared to the corporate relocating family. Her attention to detail, the delivery of superior service, her creative talent, and ability to manage complex issues have been a real key to her success.

Both Bob and Darlene instinctively understand the needs, distance constraints, and difficulties associated with second home ownership. Having owned second homes themselves, they understand that most second home owners aren't easily available to handle emergencies, or attend the overseeing of repairs.
