You are concerned about your home, but many times distance and a busy schedule make it difficult to ensure the proper care of your vacant home. Then, when you visit your home, you want to enjoy yourself and be free to enjoy the surrounding area for leisure and recreational pursuits.
MarcStone Property Concierge was designed with you in mind. Our services assist you in maintaining your second home while away, getting it ready for your visit, being available to assist you during your stay, and finally, ensuring that your property is cleaned and secured once your vacation is concluded. And because every client is different, our services and service components are intended to be flexible enough to meet your unique needs. We believe that flexibility is essential in providing the superior service you deserve. Our mission is to ease the burden of absentee homeownership and provide personalized concierge assistance to ensure enjoyable visits to your second home.
This service is designed to assist you in maintaining your property and being sure that everything is in order while you are away. As frequently as you desire (weekly, twice monthly, monthly or quarterly), a MarcStone associate will visit your property for a room-by-room inspection. We will ensure that all doors and windows are locked; all papers and debris are removed from your property; ensure all gates and out-buildings are secured; lights and timers are working properly; and driveways, decks, patios, and walkways are cleaned. During winter months, we will arrange for snow removal; and properly winterize the property according to your instructions.
As a value add-on, we will also take a video of the property and its contents. This video will be invaluable should the property ever experience damage from theft, flood, fire, snow or other natural phenomenon. A copy of the video is given to you, and a copy is stored by MarcStone as a back-up.
If you so desire, we can also pay monthly utility bills, lawn, pool maintenance bills, snow removal bills, club dues, etc. for you.
Our HomeReady service is initiated by you when you know your itinerary. Just a simple call or e-mail will get us going, readying your home for your arrival. We will ensure that the water is turned on, wood is in the fireplace, the heat or air conditioning is on, the house is freshened up, the patio furniture is in place, and that any other specialized requests are completed. Other concierge service requests such as buying groceries, purchasing ski tickets, and making dinner reservations will be completed by your arrival. Additionally, we will assist you during your stay as other needs arise. The HomeReady service allows you to simply walk into your home and begin enjoying it right away!
Our HomeSecured service makes it easy for you and your guests when you leave. We will ensure that your house is cleaned; the bedding and towels are laundered; dishes are washed and put away; designated lights are on timers; the water is turned off; doors and windows are locked; the fireplace is cleaned out; patio furniture is stored properly; driveways, walkways, and decks are cleaned off; trash is collected; and the security system is engaged. As needed and requested, your home will be winterized.
MarcStone will provide the vacationing homeowner with the same services and attention to detail as outlined for the absentee homeowner. If you are gone for a week or two, or for a longer period of time, a MarcStone associate will ensure that your property is properly maintained, regularly inspected, and mail is picked up. Also, we will arrange for a few basic grocery items to be ready for your return.
Our clients pick and choose the services and the service components as needed. Use us on an on-call or a programmed basis. Use one aspect of our service or all of them. We will meet with you to determine which services you desire and how those services are to be delivered as well as their frequency. Once that is established, we set up your profile in our system along with a billing account for you.
Our fee structure is as flexible as our services. We can put you on a monthly retainer, charge by the hour, and/or charge for a specific service. After your unique service component needs are established, we will provide you a specific service fee to cover your chosen service options. Service fees do not include out-of-pocket expenses or travel time.
